Dave Brecher (Valentine) is a freshman Film and Television major from Livingston, NJ. Though he has experience in other media (as Host for a live morning show on local cable in Livingston), and worked as Stage Manager for Life Under Water last semester, this is his first time acting in a live theatre production.
Andy DiSimone (Feste) is a sophomore business major from Sugarloaf, PA. He appeared in Guys 'N' Dolls in high school, and also performed some of his original songs at the Society of the Arts Coffeehouses here on campus.
Toni Lynn Englehart (Susan the Maid) played Philomena Rostovitch in last semester's production of Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You. Toni is a Journalism major from Weatherly, PA.
Melissa Fajardo (Cop/Choreographer) is a freshman Communications/ Journalism major from Elizabeth, NJ. Previously, Melissa appeared in Life Under Water last semester, and in in her high school productions as the Ballerina in On Your Toes, Claudine in Can-Can, and Marty in Grease. She was also a member of The Performing Arts Club in high school where she served as the Choreographer for Can-Can and Fame.
Michael Fuller (Curio) sat on the sidelines last semester as the Stage Manager for the Evening of One Acts; this semester he has elected to step onto the stage‹for the first time. Mike also has a great deal of experience from his high school in Hershey, PA, where he worked on the stage crew, as a lighting tech, and as stage manager. He is a freshman Film and Video major.
Glenn Hafler (Officer Mulder) previously appeared as Rusty Charlie in Guys and Dolls and as the Professor in South Pacific. Here at Hazleton, Glenn is majoring in Accounting.
Jeff Hagy (Sebastian) is sophomore Pre-Law major. A native of Wyckoff, NJ, Jeff appeared as Aloysius last semester in Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You.
Amy Cathleen Hires (Olivia/Choreographer) is a sophomore Human Development and Family Studies major. Previous experience includes such legendary roles as Queen Eleanor in the Avon Grove High School production of Robin Hood, and Davy Crockett in the Spring 94 acting class final presentation. Amy played Nell in last semester's production of Haiku.
Gordon Holmes (Malvolio) was last seen as Hank in Life Under Water in the Fall 94 Evening of One Acts. Previously Gordon performed in his West Lawn, PA high school as Mike Depki in Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up?, Billy Crocker in Anything Goes, Bud Frump in How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and Saul in As Is. Gordon is an Advertising major.
Daisy James (Maria) is a freshman Communication/Film and Video major. Last semester, she made her Hazleton Campus debut as Lulu in Haiku.
Tom Kane (Captain) is a freshman Electrical Engineering Technology major. Last semester, Tom played Kip in Life Under Water. In high school, Tom apeared as Bernardo in West Side Story.
Jason W. LaBruzza (Sir Andrew Aguecheek) appeared on the Commons stage last semester as Frank'n'Furter in a special midnight showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Offstage, Jason is a Philosophy major and a Student Government Association senator.
John Lazo (Antonio) is a sophomore Administration of Justice major from Sugarloaf, PA. John was seen previously on campus as young Thomas in Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You, and in the Fall '94 Evening Of One Acts, as the President in Witness and as the Bellboy in The Still Alarm.
Jose Lugaro (Orsino) is a freshman Business Administration major. Previous credits include the roles of Vernon Hines in The Pajama Game and Piglet in a production of The House At Pooh Corner at the Pocono Mountain Children's Theatre. Last semester Jose played Gary in Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You.
Lela Mertz (Fabianne) was last seen on our stage as Mary Baltimore in On The Verge, and also played Winnie in the Fall '93 production of The Actor's Nightmare. Last semester Lela traveled to Stroudsburg to appear as Margot in The Diary of Anne Frank.
Trisha Ann Museousky (Viola) played the title role in last semester's Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You. In high school, Trisha had the leading role in Forty-Second Street, and appeared in Fiddler on the Roof. She also performed with the Nuremburg Community players as Esther in Meet Me In St. Louis. Next fall, Trisha will be a Theatre Arts major at University Park.
David A. Scopinich (Sir Toby Belch) is making his fourth appearance on the Commons stage. Previously Dave played the Window Washer in Witness and the Executioner in The Actor's Nightmare, both in Fall '93, as Nicky Paradise in On the Verge in Spring '94, and The Man in last semester's world premiere of Aliens! 3 Miles, Turn Left. A journalism major, Dave is also the Sports Editor of the Highacres Collegian. He would like to thank his parents for their continued support of his theatre performances.
Amy Secules (The Mime) has been seen previously as Fastrada in Pippin, the Hairdresser in Mame, Sylvia Frye in Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, and as a singer, dancer, costume and prop designer for The Wiz, all at Hughesville High School, and as Janet in The Rocky Horror Picture Show at PSU Hazleton. Amy is also Vice-President of the Society of the Arts.
